Children, especially those aged up to 9 or 10 years, learn differently from adolescents and adults in terms of the following:

a.       They respond to the meaning even if they do not understand individual words

b.      They often learn indirectly rather than directly, it means they absorb from all parties, learning from everything of their surroundings rather than simply focusing on a particular topic being taught

c.       Understanding of children comes not only from the exploration but also of what they see and hear and, crucially, have the opportunity to touch and interact

d.      They usually show enthusiasm for learning curiosity about the world around him

e.       They have a need for individual attention and approval of teacher

f.       They love to talk about themselves and respond learning well that use themselves and their life as a main topic in the classroom

g.      They have limited attention spans, but really fun activity that does not quickly make them bored, lose interest, after approximately 10 minutes (Harmer; 2003; 38)
